Wetlands Environmental Compliance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine wetlands and stormwater inspections across operational and construction areas
• Maintain compliance with EPA, DEQ, Clean Water Act, and local environmental regulations
• Support compliance with spill prevention, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and corrective actions
• Coordinate with operations, construction teams, contractors, and environmental leadership
• Participate in environmental training and safety initiatives
• Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and environmental standards

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 plus years of relevant experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read maps, site plans, and environmental documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, construction, or semiconductor environments
• Associate degree or coursework in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of Oregon DEQ environmental requirements

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk long distances across uneven terrain
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Outdoor exposure to heat, rain, mud, and construction environments
• Climb ladders, access drainage areas, and perform field inspections safely

Compensation Details

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
