Wetlands Environmental Compliance Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine wetlands and stormwater inspections across operational and construction areas
- Maintain compliance with EPA, DEQ, Clean Water Act, and local environmental regulations
- Support compliance with spill prevention, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and corrective actions
- Coordinate with operations, construction teams, contractors, and environmental leadership
- Participate in environmental training and safety initiatives
- Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and environmental standards
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 plus years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to read maps, site plans, and environmental documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, construction, or semiconductor environments
- Associate degree or coursework in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of Oregon DEQ environmental requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk long distances across uneven terrain
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Outdoor exposure to heat, rain, mud, and construction environments
- Climb ladders, access drainage areas, and perform field inspections safely
Compensation Details
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
