About the role
The Environmental Compliance Technician at Factor is responsible for monitoring and enforcing proper disposal of food and waste within the production and surrounding areas. This role involves training employees in real time, ensuring safety and hygiene standards, and reporting trends to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce adherence to company policy and procedures for food and waste disposal.
- Train employees in real time on proper food waste practices.
- Oversee and perform sanitation tasks such as removing waste and debris, transporting empty boxes, sanitizing equipment, and cleaning tools.
- Communicate with all departments to collaborate and solve problems.
- Support the production department by cleaning and preparing for the next shift.
- Escalate food safety and sanitation issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Previous food, grocery, or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.

Pay
$25—$25 USD per hour.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with varied days and hours of work according to shift. Overtime may be required based on operational needs.
