New Business Process
New Business Process
Own the new business process including lead management and qualification.
Develops appropriate targeted materials (marketing and otherwise) to help facilitate the new customer/new business process.
Responsibilities
- New Account Planning
Applies expertise to implement plans and achieve individual, team, and organizational sales goals.
Ensures internal teams collaborate to meet all new account growth objectives and priorities.
Coordinates with internal technical sales team and independent sales representatives to target new customers.
Ensures profitable bookings from targeted new customers. - New Account Advocacy
Serves as the voice of the key new account to top management and within the entire organization. - New Account Management
Develops regular reviews for all new accounts.
Assists in negotiating pricing and terms to maximize profitability while maintaining new account satisfaction. - Relationship Management
Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Initiates and manages business relationships with high level decision makers and other influential groups.
Leverages industry relationships and expertise to penetrate new accounts at industry leading profitability levels. - Reporting and Analysis
Generates regular summary reports on all significant new account activities and outcomes.
Tracks bookings, billings, for all new business opportunity funnel metrics to key stakeholders on a regular cadence.
Requirements
- Requires a BS degree, or equivalent, in a technical or business-related discipline
- 3-5 years of sales experience in a complex global manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time

- Strong direct and interactive computer skills
- Excellent analytic and organizational skills
- A demonstrated ability to perform in a fast paced, changing, and demanding environment
- An excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
- Demonstrated skills in facilitating cross functional meetings, managing teams, and working effectively across all functions
- A strong background in sales activities and familiarity with CRM systems
