West Weekday Lifeguard-Part Time

About the role

Are you passionate about providing a safe environment and creating positive and lasting relationships with members all while receiving a free Y membership? Come join our team of lifeguards.

Qualifications

• Possess or obtain within the indicated time frame the following certifications and keep all certifications current: Current Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid certification
• Must be 15 years of age or older
• Ability to demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards
• Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with members, staff and supervisors
• Have an outgoing, friendly approach that will lead and motivate members
• Ability to maintain a level of physical and mental readiness at all times

Pay & Schedule

Part time weekdays, Monday–Friday 9–5pm with flexible hours. Starting pay $16.00/hour.
