West Assitant Swim Team Coach-Part Time

About the role

We are currently looking for a high energy individual with a passion for helping others to join our team! Our Assistant Swim Team Coach assists in conducting quality practices which foster a positive swimming experience, educational experience, aid in personal development, and contributes to self discipline for the children in our program.

Responsibilities

• Assists Swim Team Head Coach during practice
• Ensures safe environment for all swimmers and spectators
• Provides instruction in stroke technique as well as starts and turns
• Develops and administers strong team discipline at all times
• Attends scheduled swim meets as needed
• Builds team leadership, encourages good sportsmanship, team loyalty, hard work and courteous, respectful behavior
• Demonstrates a cheerful, positive attitude

Qualifications

• Competitive swimming experience at the high school level or collegiate level required
• Must possess and maintain current Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/AED certifications
• Safety Training for Swim Coaches certification is desired

Pay

$16.50/hour

Schedule

Between 4-9pm Monday-Thursday and 4-6:30pm on Friday. We can work around your schedule.
