Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Wellness Technician to support health promotion initiatives and wellness programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health or related disciplines, hands-on clinical experience, and the ability to effectively educate and engage adult learners in health and wellness topics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellness education sessions and training programs for adult learners
• Support health screenings and clinical wellness initiatives
• Aid in developing and implementing health promotion activities
• Provide guidance on fitness, nutrition, and overall health management
• Maintain accurate documentation of program activities and participant engagement
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance wellness outcomes

Primary Skills

• Strong instructional and presentation skills for adult learners
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of health promotion, public health, and wellness practices
• The ability to conduct or support clinical wellness activities

Secondary Skills (Good To Have)

• Phlebotomy Certification
• CPR Instructor Certification
• CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist) Certification
• Fitness, Dietetics, or Health Coaching Certification

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Health, Health Management, or related field (Required)
• Applicable clinical experience
• Demonstrated ability to teach and work effectively with adult learners
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in health, wellness, or fitness
