Essential Functions
- Create a caring, friendly, fun, and safe environment that provides opportunities for members to connect, develop relationships, and achieve their wellness
- Perform light maintenance on the fitness floor as per the Wellness Director
- Ensure that all fitness areas are organized and well supplied
- Perform assigned maintenance duties to keep all pieces of equipment clean and working
- Affirmatively address any questions or problems that arise by reporting directly to your supervisor
- Be attentive to members and their needs
- Follow as staff all rules and guidelines for members in the activity areas
- Set the example
- Instruct members in fitness orientations, providing feedback as necessary
Education and/or Experience
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Additional college level fitness training
- Three to six months related experience and/or training
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
