Wellness Nurse

About the role

Aegis Living Las Vegas is looking for a Nurse to provide quality care to our residents. The Wellness Nurse is an integral member of our nursing team, contributing health care expertise to promote an environment of optimal living for our residents. Our Nurses will provide clinical expertise to our senior residents with ongoing assessments and monitoring the health and wellbeing of our residents. Our nurses are supported by a team of Caregivers, Medication Technicians, and our Health Services Director.

This role offers consistent hours, a set schedule with flexibility options, a focus on being a clinical expert on the floor, and a clear career growth path into management.

Schedule

PM shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Wound care
• Medication Management
• Provide nursing services to residents
• Communication with families and physicians
• Conduct fall risk assessments, skin assessments, pain assessments, Fast Scale assessments
• Hands-on nursing care
• Coordinate resident care with residents, families, and physicians
• Communicate care plan changes to staff
• Audit eMARS and med cart
• Participate in training of care staff

Requirements

• Active and in good standing RN/LPN License
• A passion to work with seniors
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to work hard, support your team, and build fun into the job
• Must be willing to take a 2-step TB test

USD $37.00 per hour
