Overview

WebMD Health Services (WHS) is a division of WebMD dedicated to providing expert guidance that inspires people to take charge of their health. WHS powers well-being programs for employers, health plans, and government organizations, offering services online, onsite, and telephonically.

Position Description

The Well-being Program Coordinator will collaborate with the client’s health promotion team to deliver well-being programming and face-to-face health coaching to eligible participants. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the planning and execution of onsite wellness initiatives and annual engagement strategies.
  • Developing creative campaigns to increase awareness and participation.
  • Cooking and conducting biometric screenings, blood pressure checks, and vision screenings.
  • Building trusted relationships with HR, Benefits, UAW, and site leadership.
  • Providing health coaching, motivational interviewing, and supporting sustainable behavior change.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
  • At least two years of wellness coordinator/health coaching or similar health and wellness client-facing experience.
  • Experience working independently onsite and managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfort using Microsoft and Google office products.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to support early morning, evening, or special event programming, as well as occasional travel.
  • Proven ability to adapt to individual communication styles and client work groups.
  • Solutions-oriented and independent problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to travel out of the state for client or WebMD support.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for interacting with participants.
  • Proficiency in various types of technology and data entry.
