About the role

A Wellness Nurse (LPN or RN) supports the Resident Care Director in an assisted-living and memory-support community, delivering comprehensive care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Care Director in managing and developing resident care programs.
• Train and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Serve as a liaison with families, physicians, and community agencies.
• Provide direct resident care, ensure quality care delivery, and support team development.
• Engage with residents, families, and care providers to promote resident well-being.
• Ensure punctuality and perform physical tasks related to resident mobility and care.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Massachusetts license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with elderly or Alzheimer’s populations.
• Effective communication skills and reliability.
• Physical ability to assist with resident mobility and care tasks.
