Wellness Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents
• Delegate and supervise care provided by medication care specialists
• Document resident status per policy
• Supervise team members and provide direct nursing care
• Administer medications and perform treatments or procedures
• Monitor resident health status and develop care plans
• Respond promptly to resident call systems with compassion and professionalism
• Support a culture of safety, cleanliness, and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Current nursing license in the state where employed
• One year of nursing experience, preferably with individuals with Alzheimer’s or other dementia
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Compassion, integrity, and a commitment to the well‑being of seniors
• Annual flu vaccine required (excluding religious or medical exemptions)

Schedule

Part‑time, every other weekend, 7 am – 3 pm.
