About the role
We’re looking for a compassionate and driven Registered Nurse (RN) who is dedicated to patient-centered care and recovery. With BHG, you’ll play a critical role in administering methadone, performing health assessments, and ensuring medication accountability.
Responsibilities
- Provide Care Safely administer methadone and other prescribed medications in accordance with individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct ongoing health assessments to identify medical needs and barriers to recovery.
- Evaluate patient readiness for dosing and provide timely clinical follow-up to support safe, effective treatment.
- Collaborate with counselors and the interdisciplinary care team to support each patient's recovery journey and treatment progress.
- Manage Documentation and Inventory Maintain accurate dosing records and ensure medication accountability to protect patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate care with pharmacies, laboratories, physicians, and community providers.
- Prepare and coordinate courtesy and vacation medication doses to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain clinical documentation and chart monitoring systems to support required physicals and laboratory testing.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Rhode Island
Qualifications
- Required: Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Preferred: Experience in chemical addiction or substance abuse treatment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and manage high-pressure situations.
- Working knowledge of medical equipment such as dosing equipment, centrifuges, test strips, and breathalyzers.

Pay
$37.00/hr. + Bonus Structure
