About the Role

The Vanderbilt, Auberge Collection seeks a Spa Host to serve as the welcoming face of our luxury resort's spa facilities. In this role, you will orient guests to the spa, provide exceptional personal guest service, and ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the spa facilities and provide orientation
• Review daily treatment schedules and prepare/maintain guest areas to meet standards and protocols
• Book spa appointments for guests and assist with reservations
• Answer phones and manage spa bookings
• Prepare professional body care products, set up dry sauna rooms, and prepare baths as needed
• Take drink orders, prepare drinks, and serve poolside
• Assist with preparing treatment rooms
• Maintain pool areas by removing towels, cups, and dishes, and restocking supplies
• Transport linen carts to the laundry facility

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service, personal care industry, or pool service position in a luxury resort environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment as part of a large team
• Excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality
• Commitment to providing exceptional service and going above and beyond for guests

The Vanderbilt, Auberge Collection is a storied 33-room luxury resort in downtown Newport, originally built in 1908 as a mansion by Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt. Meticulously restored to its historic glory, the property features elegant fireplaces, museum-quality artwork, and multiple dining venues:
