About the Role
The Wellness Floor Attendant is responsible for creating a welcoming and safe environment in the Wellness Center. This role supports members and guests by providing basic equipment guidance, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring adherence to safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Provide basic orientation to fitness equipment and wellness center layout
- Monitor the wellness floor to ensure safe and appropriate use of equipment
- Enforce wellness center policies, including age guidelines and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workout areas throughout shift
- Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Respond appropriately to incidents and seek support when needed
- Assist in promoting wellness programs, classes, and services as appropriate

Requirements
- Friendly, approachable, and customer service–focused
- Basic understanding of fitness equipment preferred (training provided)
- Ability to communicate with individuals of all ages and abilities
- CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire
- Must be reliable and able to work independently
Physical Demands
- Required to physically perform demonstration of equipment and exercise
- Required to demonstrate physical stamina and agility, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, walk, run, and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to react to emergency situations by quick movements, strenuous activity, and communicate in a noisy environment
