Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive personal care services to residents daily while adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, and provide quality care as their healthcare needs evolve
  • Coordinate, train, and supervise resident care staff according to residents’ needs, state regulations, and company policies

Requirements

  • Must be an LPN or RN in good standing and meet all State health requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Assisted Living and/or Long-term care
  • Knowledgeable of State and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to licensed senior housing
  • Previous supervisory and/or management experience in a related healthcare setting
  • Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
  • Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff, community and State officials, and the general public
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to reprioritize daily tasks based on fluctuating resident needs
  • Ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and ensuring efficient, safe delivery of care
  • Able to supervise department employees using independent judgment and discretion
  • Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
