Wellness Director

Responsibilities

• Comply with standards of business conduct in accordance with federal, state and local health and regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Manage the Nursing Department, including professional development of Assistant Wellness Director and clinical staff.
• Ensure proper staffing levels, regulatory compliance, and on-going improvement.
• Create and maintain monthly department schedule.
• Lead leadership development for Assistant Wellness Director and clinical staff.
• Ensure departmental quality assurance with applicable regulations, Viva’s standards, and business performance.
• Order supplies for Nursing Department.
• Work with the Business Office Manager to complete interview process for prospective employees.
• Meet with new nursing team members to review training and onboarding schedule.
• Schedule training for new employees.
• Check in with new hires regularly to ensure orientation process is satisfactory.
• Work with the Business Office Manager to ensure requirements and job specific orientation checklist has been completed.
• Maintain on-call schedule and rotation.
