Wellness Director

About the role

Oaks at West Cobb is seeking an LPN to join their team as an Assisted Living Wellness Director. This full-time position oversees the care of residents, supervises staff, and provides training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards and comply with Department of Community Health regulations for residents' care, watchful oversight, and well-being.
• Regularly visit and assess each resident, ensuring their well-being and promoting health and wellness.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents and their families through interactions and ongoing communication.
• Mentor and train resident care employees, developing and maintaining a schedule that meets the needs of residents.
• Resolve workplace issues and concerns through an open-door policy, fostering a positive labor/management relationship.
• Lead and manage staff, using organizational skills and leadership abilities.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Current Georgia LPN or RN license.
• CPR certification.
• One year of experience working with residents in a long-term care setting.
• Able to serve on an on-call rotation.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
• Supervisory experience in healthcare is preferred, but not required.
