Responsibilities
- Provides overall leadership and management of the health and well-being of the residents within the community.
- Responsible for all clinical programs.
- Affiliated with quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Assists in the training and on-boarding of clinical and care coordinator team members.
- Assists and partners with the Regional Director of Resident Care to provide Medication Care Manager training (in states where allowed).
Requirements
- Education/Experience/License:
- Certification: Nurse | RN | LPN
- Education: Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years department management experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
- Licenses/Certifications: Must have a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Nurse | RN | LPN: Understanding of infection control procedures.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to schedule, orientate and train staff.
- Technology: Proficient in using MS Office.
- Knowledge: Understands and implements Personalized Service Plans.
- End-of-Life Care: Understands advanced directives and end-of-life care.
- Philosophy: Understands and embraces the assisted living philosophy.
- Nursing Function: Understands nursing function in assisted living, quality of care and quality of life objectives.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years department management experience working with elders or disabled individuals.
- Must have demonstrated Leadership capabilities.
- Multi-department experience strongly recommended.
- Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing.
