About the role
The Wellness Center Specialist supports students’ access to mental health and wellness resources, and teaches skills to develop sustainable wellness practices for life. The role manages all aspects of the school site Wellness Center, including program implementation, day-to-day operations, coordinating direct student support services, Tier 2 case management, student outreach, and implementing a school-wide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum and Wellness education. The Specialist ensures compliance with school district wellness policies, data tracking, and evaluation.
Responsibilities
- Manage program implementation and day-to-day operations of the school Wellness Center
- Coordinate direct student support services and Tier 2 case management
- Conduct student outreach and implement school-wide SEL curriculum and Wellness education
- Ensure compliance with school district wellness policies
- Track and evaluate data related to Wellness Center programs
Requirements
- Job-related experience is required
- Three or more years of experience in wellness, mental health, and/or school-based work preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, or other health and wellness-related fields
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) preferred
