Wellness Assistant - Full-Time

About the role

Join Astoria Senior Living, an Agemark Senior Living community in Omaha, NE, as a full-time Wellness Assistant. You'll play an important role in keeping residents happy, engaged, and supported each day, assisting with care, activities, and wellness team support.

Responsibilities

• Support resident wellness by assisting with daily routines, meals, appointments, and activities while ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.
• Provide medication support, including assisting with medication administration to ensure safe, quality care (Medication Aide/Technician experience preferred).
• Create meaningful moments by partnering with the Life Enrichment team to coordinate activities, outings, and special events that bring joy to residents.
• Keep operations running smoothly by providing administrative support, coordinating schedules, assisting with communication, and organizing daily tasks.
• Act as a go-to team member by coordinating transportation, handling maintenance requests, addressing resident needs, and supporting the team wherever needed.

Requirements

• One year of healthcare or senior living experience is preferred.
• Medication Aide/Technician training or experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills: friendly, professional, and able to build positive relationships with residents, families, and teammates.
• Organized and adaptable, with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, dependable, and passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of older adults.
