Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight of initiatives promoting emotional, mental, financial, and logistical support to staff.
- Prevent burnout and manage stress among staff members.
- Enhance well-being through various support mechanisms.
- Offer counseling services to staff members.
- Organize and facilitate wellness sessions.
- Foster peer support networks within the organization.
- Make counseling referrals and provide immediate trauma support as needed.
- Support the benefits team in their operations.
- Ensure 24/7 program activation and oversight for RCH’s HEART Behind the Healing (Care for Caregiver) program.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (LPC, MFT, LCSW, etc.) required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, including peer support, crisis response, and training development.
- Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Clinical Mental Health Counseling Specialist in Trauma Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Licensed Social Worker preferred.
- A current BLS certification required.
- A valid California driver’s license and automobile with current registration and insurance for field work.
Qualifications
MAB (Mentoring and Advocacy Board) completion is required on the first day of work.
