WELLBEING COACH (COUNSELLOR OR SOCIAL WORKER)

Limited tenure leave replacement: 14 September 2026 – 14 September 2027.
4 days per week, term time, 8:00 am – 4:36 pm.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Wellbeing Coach to support our students across the College. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with other members of the Pastoral Care team to provide specialised assistance in individual counselling, liaison and case management, referrals to external professionals/agencies, as well as providing advice and resources for teachers and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counselling using evidence-based interventions
• Liaise and manage cases with external professionals and agencies
• Offer advice and resources to teachers and parents
• Actively promote the Catholic ethos and mission of the College
• Participate in a team approach to child and adolescent wellbeing
• Exercise discretion and maintain high ethical standards

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
