Social Worker or Counselor

About the role

Sheppard Pratt’s Baltimore/Washington campus, located in Howard County, provides comprehensive care to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of mental health diagnoses and concerns. The Harbor Unit is a 17-bed unit on this campus serving adults 18 and older with psychiatric diagnoses, including thought disorders, psychotic disorders, and mood disorders.

We believe in assigning staff to care settings and patient populations that motivate them professionally and personally.

Responsibilities

• Support patients toward long-term recovery as part of a multi-disciplined team.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from a school accredited by the Council of Social Work.
• Must possess one of the following Maryland licenses at time of hire:
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
  • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $60,000 – $105,000, determined by factors including license and years/level of related experience.
