About the role

Jefferson Southern Corporation is seeking a skilled individual to join our team. This position involves performing various maintenance and quality control tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production lines and the quality of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all JSC rules and procedures.
  • Follow all safety policies.
  • Perform 5S activities.
  • Respond to production D/T calls immediately and countermeasure effectively.
  • Maintain production lines by identifying items that may cause downtime and implementing countermeasures.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis on top D/T items and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor lines to ensure that implemented countermeasures are effective.
  • Identify and maintain necessary spare parts, prioritizing critical spare parts.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks as scheduled.
  • Repair any defects found in the production process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and conduct Root Cause Analysis for quality-related incidents.
  • Support engineering teams during new equipment setup trials.
  • Communicate existing equipment failures to Team Leader and Assistant Manager.
  • Support Quality Assurance (QA) during quality incident investigations and provide countermeasures.
  • Participate in cost reduction activities to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.
  • Proficiency in using basic tools and equipment used in manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience with 5S methodology and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of basic quality control techniques and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Understanding of basic mechanical principles and the ability to troubleshoot simple machine malfunctions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of responsibility.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $XX - $YY per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

This position is full-time and works a standard Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
