Schedule
3rd shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday – Thursday
Pay
$21.00 per hour (includes $1.50 shift differential)
Responsibilities
- Operates welding machine to join metal spans in metal fabrication process.
- Sets up and operates machines such as drill presses, punch presses, saws, shears, bending rolls, brakes, grinders, and numerical control equipment to shape and alter metal according to specifications.
- Follows blueprints, customer specifications, rough sketches, or engineer drawings to shape, mend, and weld metal accurately.
- Uses hand and power tools to shape, cut, and smooth metal and to blend seams.
- Sets up and operates soldering and welding equipment.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong aptitude for operating machinery.
- Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Hi-Lo Certification preferred; must be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
- One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be able to clear a drug screen and background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
