Welding Instructor (part-time evening)

Berks Career & Technology Center (BCTC) is seeking part-time Welding Instructors to teach in our new state-of-the-art Welding building at the West Campus in Leesport, PA. This role aims to prepare entry-level, employable students or advance the education of those already employed who have met or exceeded BCTC Continuing Education completion requirements.

About the role

The selected candidate will share their expertise with adult students, fostering skills in a hands-on learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in welding techniques including SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, OFC, and Plasma cutting
• Teach and mentor adult students to meet employability or further education goals

Requirements

• AWS certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills
