Welding Inspector
This will be a part-time, seasonal opportunity. Typically, 20-30 hours a week per client needs.
About the role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Welding Inspector to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you'll enjoy working in the field while collaborating with a diverse team to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards. As a Welding Inspector, you will conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. You will review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards, identify and address welding defects, and maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors while delivering excellent work. Your role is vital in ensuring the integrity and safety of natural gas distribution projects through thorough inspections and quality assurance processes. This is a field-based role in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a focus on hands-on oversight and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Review and interpret welding procedures, codes, and standards.
- Identify and address welding defects.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and contractors.

Requirements
- Certification such as CWI or CPWI is not required for this position.
- Prior welding experience in gas pipeline construction or maintenance is essential.
- We welcome candidates with strong field experience and a solid understanding of welding practices in utility environments.
- Enjoys working in the field and solving challenges in real-time.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
