About the role
GeoTek is seeking a Welding Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding inspection and quality assurance.Responsibilities
- Inspect welds according to industry standards and specifications
- Document findings and discrepancies in inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to resolve issues
- Participate in training sessions and safety meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding inspection
- Knowledge of welding processes and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Skills
- Proficient in using welding inspection equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
