Welder Weekend Shift

About the role

Weekend shift position with 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting at 5 AM. Paid for 40 hours of work across 3 days. Includes a $3/hour weekend shift differential.

Basic Qualifications

• Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent; must pass welding procedures test.
• Skills: Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics; interpersonal and communication skills; mechanical skills; PC skills including Internet; visual and auditory skills.
• Working Conditions: Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, climb, and lift items up to 40 lbs; work in excessive noise; operate heavy machinery, power tools, or equipment; work at elevated heights or in confined spaces.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years' experience in related positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to support machine/repair functions, including coordinating work within and across departments.
• Report pertinent information to the immediate supervisor and respond to inquiries or requests for information.
• Use MIG, stick electrode, and brazing welding processes.
• Layout, position, align, and fit components; bolt, clamp, and tack weld parts.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting, grinding, carbon arc, or oxy-acetylene torch.
• Read blueprints or follow verbal instructions for repairs and fabrication.
• Adhere to laws, policies, and procedures to promote a harassment-free workplace.
• Support internal policies, procedures, and practices for risk management, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $24–$29
