This is a hands-on position combining warehouse operations, welding, light metal fabrication, inventory management, and material handling. You'll play an important role in keeping the warehouse organized, preparing materials for fencing projects, and fabricating gates, posts, and other fencing components. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized, and is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities throughout the day. Previous warehouse experience is valuable, and while MIG welding experience is preferred, we're also open to motivated candidates who are eager to learn. How You Will Make An Impact Welding & Fence FabricationWeld gates, fence posts, and other metal fencing components according to project requirementsPerform MIG welding and basic fabrication tasks based on experience and trainingAssist with cutting, fitting, assembling, and preparing metal components for fencing projectsSupport fabrication of fencing materials and components as neededInspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and proper assemblyMaintain an organized welding and fabrication workspaceFollow established safety procedures when operating welding equipment, tools, and handling metal materialsLearn additional welding and fabrication techniques as neededWarehouse Operations & OrganizationMaintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environmentReceive, inspect, sort, and organize incoming fencing materials and suppliesPrepare outgoing materials for fencing projects and daily operationsStore fencing components, tools, and materials in designated warehouse locationsAssist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the warehouseHelp ensure materials are organized and accessible when neededIdentify damaged, missing, or improperly stored materials and communicate concernsSupport general warehouse operations to keep daily activities running smoothlyInventory Management & Material HandlingAssist with inventory tracking, organization, and cycle countsMonitor material quantities and help identify shortages or discrepanciesVerify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracyOrganize fencing materials, gates, posts, hardware, and related suppliesAssist with preparing and staging materials for upcoming fencing projectsCommunicate inventory needs and material concerns to the appropriate team membersHandle materials carefully to minimize damage and unnecessary wasteMaintain accurate and organized inventory records as directedTeam Coordination & Daily OperationsCommunicate effectively with office staff, warehouse personnel, and other team membersCoordinate material preparation and warehouse activities to support daily project needsManage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and efficiencyPrioritize responsibilities based on operational needsTake initiative to identify tasks that need attention without waiting for constant directionWork independently while contributing to a productive team environmentAssist with additional warehouse and fabrication responsibilities as neededHelp maintain a positive, professional, and productive workplaceSafety & Quality ControlFollow company safety policies and established warehouse and welding safety proceduresProperly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)Maintain safe work practices when welding, handling materials, and using tools or equipmentInspect materials and completed work for damage, defects, or quality concernsReport unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, and potential hazards promptlyMaintain clean and organized work areas to reduce safety risksTake pride in producing accurate, consistent, and high-quality work Required Qualifications & Experience Valid South Carolina driver's license – RequiredAbility to successfully pass a background checkStrong work ethic, dependability, and consistent attendanceAbility and willingness to perform hands-on warehouse, material handling, and fabrication tasksStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn welding and fabrication techniques if not already experiencedAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and complete assigned responsibilities accuratelyHonest, self-motivated, and accountable approach to daily workAbility to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWillingness to take initiative and assist wherever needed to support daily operations Preferred Qualifications & Experience Previous warehouse or material handling experienceMIG welding experienceAluminum welding experienceLight metal fabrication experienceExperience welding or assembling gates, posts, fencing components, or related metal productsPrevious experience within the fencing, construction, metal fabrication, or building materials industryFamiliarity with warehouse inventory management and cycle countsExperience receiving, organizing, and preparing incoming and outgoing materialsAbility to work efficiently in a hands-on warehouse and fabrication environmentCandidates with strong warehouse experience and a willingness to learn welding are encouraged to apply.
