Role: Warehouse Associate Reports to: Distribution Center Manager FLSA: Non-Exempt Location: El Cajon/Raleigh Why this role is important at Genesee Scientific? You will play a crucial role in ensuring that high-quality life science products are delivered to our customers accurately and on time, while contributing to a positive and efficient work environment. What Will You Do Process orders accurately and efficiently to meet customer expectationsAble to perform tasks in all the following process paths, receiving, picking, packing &shippingPackage and label shipments following standard operating procedures and complete all necessary documentation for hazardous materialsAssist in proper storage and management of inventoryPulling of sample ordersBuilding of Maker products as requiredWork collaboratively with your team to foster a positive and supportive work environmentOperate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment as needed once trained and authorizedto move, stage, load, and unload materials.If required for compliance, Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)Maintain compliance with safety protocols Requirements What you will bring: 1+ years of relevant experience in a stockroom or warehouse is a plus Familiarity with FedEx and UPS shipping programs is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracyCommitment to adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environmentDesire to work as part of a team, but also able to work independently and solve problems quicklyBasic proficiency with computers and scanning equipment preferred, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft TeamsThrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
