Warehouse Associate

About the role

As a Warehouse Operator at Reece & Fortiline, you will play a key role in keeping our communities safe by ensuring customers receive the materials they need to provide clean water and heating/cooling. You will work cooperatively in a team to efficiently manage warehouse operations, delivering high-quality customer service and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials to maintain inventory standards.
• Verify all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries.
• Properly load and unload materials from trucks while maintaining inventory control.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in warehouse operations, including materials handling and stocking.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or more, bend, squat, crouch, reach, and work indoors/outdoors as required.
• Physical capacities: frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting and standing for extended periods, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and walking.
• Oral and written communication skills, including clarity, comprehension, and expression.
• Mental capacities: adaptability, critical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving, dependability, and time management.

Skills and Development

• Gain knowledge of assigned business line’s products.
• Obtain forklift certification.
• Develop leadership skills to advance into roles such as leadership, CDL driver, or sales.
