Welder TN-2nd Shift

About the role

This position reports to the Welding Supervisor and is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties, with authority delegated commensurate with those responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.
• Label products correctly.
• Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
• Perform any additional duties that are logically and properly inherent to this position or that may be assigned.

Requirements

• MIG welding experience preferred; semi‑automatic MIG welding a plus.
• One year of on‑the‑job experience or welding classes (Trade School) desired.
• Pass JOST Welder Qualification Test.
• Ability to work and communicate accurately and factually as an effective team member with fellow employees, leadmen, and supervision.
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products.
• Compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and JOST company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of the time. While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
