About the role

Work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment up to 12 hours per day. Stand for extended periods of time and lift/carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Produce welds that are 100% x-ray quality and visually acceptable
- Clean welds with a buffer or grinder for the welder
Requirements
- At least 2 years of general welding experience
- Knowledge of various welding techniques including TIG, MIG, Arc, and Oxy-fuel Welding
Qualifications
What will put you ahead:
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)
Pay
Starting pay is $27.00 - $30.00/hour depending on experience. $5.00/hour shift premium for any hours worked Friday – Sunday (overtime rules apply). You will have the ability to increase your compensation based on skills and contribution to the overall performance of the mill.
Schedule
Only candidates who are flexible and available to work any shift will be considered. This will include overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.
- 12-hour shifts
- Weekends: Thursday – Saturday (every other Sunday), 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- The week of orientation will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and you will be assigned your regular shift after your orientation.
