Your Responsibilities
- Perform MIG/GMAW welding and fabrication of structural steel components and assemblies according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to accurately cut, fit, assemble, and fabricate metal components.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts using visual and non-destructive inspection methods to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Troubleshoot welding and fabrication defects, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while following Lean manufacturing practices, 5S standards, and production procedures.
Your Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; technical welding training or certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred.
- 3–5 years of welding and metal fabrication experience, preferably within heavy equipment, industrial manufacturing, or aerial lift manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, blueprint interpretation, weld symbols, and fabrication tools; experience with high-strength steels preferred.
- Ability to pass an in-house welding certification test and consistently produce quality welds while meeting production goals.
- Strong safety mindset with the ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and adapt to changing production priorities.
