Welder - Jackson Location
About the role
You will work with a broad range of talented individuals to deliver quality products in a timely manner. You’ll work alongside Welders and partner with professionals across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to assemble a wide range of products.
- Be responsible for the quality of your work, and meet production standards.
- Continually look for ways to improve production processes and make Safety your #1 priority every day.
- Align, fit components together.
- Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
- Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, or submerged arc welding equipment.
- Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
- Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED.
- 1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Ability to use tools and equipment needed to perform assembly operations in an industrial setting.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Able to work well with others to be a good team player.
Additional Information
- Physical Demands: Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Talk or hear. Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Close vision required.
- Salary Range: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour. Base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
