About the Role

This position serves as a Welder Inspector assigned to the Maintenance and Repair Section of St. Paul District's Physical Support Branch. It is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Responsibilities

As a Welder Inspector, you will be part of the Maintenance and Repair Section, contributing to the Physical Support Branch's operations.

Requirements

• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.
• A 1-year probationary period is required, during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
• Direct Deposit of Pay is mandatory.

Qualifications

This position is part of the Material Maintenance Management Career Program, aligned under the Logistics Career Management Directorate.
