About the role
The TIG/MIG Welder is responsible for setting up and operating welding equipment to specifications and quality standards. This role requires proficiency in both TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding processes while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Work Type: On Site
Work Location: Currently 1901 Diplomat Drive, Farmers Branch, TX; will relocate to South Arlington, TX in October 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel and aluminum components.
- Set up and adjust welding machines based on material type, thickness, and welding specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, saws, drill presses, and other hand and power tools.
- Maintain equipment and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of welding equipment and compressed gases.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Accurately complete production documentation and quality records.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve production issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of TIG and MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
- Experience welding carbon steel and aluminum.
Skills
- Proficient in TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Physical Demands
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Lift up to 50 pounds; heavier items with assistance.
- Wear required PPE including welding helmet, gloves, hearing protection, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
