Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate hand-welding equipment to join metal components, or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
• Able to read work orders, blueprints, instructions, formulas, and/or processing charts to ensure precise and accurate welding in agreement with the customer’s design specifications.
• Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances.
• Communicate and problem solve with others in a reasonable and professional manner and work effectively in a team environment.
• Maintain and keep welding equipment in good working order - free of debris and perform proper maintenance.
• Maintain clean equipment, tools, and work area.
• Follow established safety procedures and work safely all day.
• Follow all relative ISO 9000 procedures.
• Record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports.
