Welder I
Description
For offers extended on or after July 1, 2026, a sign-on bonus of $2,000 is available. This includes $1,000 after 90 days and $1,000 after 180 days of successful employment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Set up and perform welding per prints including (spot welding, robotic welder and MIG welding)
- Enter work order data required for labor reporting into the computer system
- Use inspection equipment and review blueprints to ensure work is meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
- Work in a manner that emphasizes safety of self and others
- Follows all health and safety policies and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education, Experience And Skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Proven experience reading blue prints and using inspection equipment/measuring devices
- Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques
- Previous experience with computer skills such as typing, printing and data entry
- Ability to use math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Preferred Education, Experience And Skills
- Excellent communication skills and a high degree of responsiveness and empathy for internal and external customers
- Preferred metal fabrication and welding background
- Prior work experience with JDE/Oracle in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in a high variety, low to mid-volume manufacturing environment
Compensation & Benefits
- The starting pay rate for this position is $21.50 per hour
- We may pay above or below posted amount based on several factors, including, but not limited to education and/or certifications, skills, experience, or work location
- Some positions may qualify for additional compensation in the form of bonuses

- Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shift
- Must be able to bend and stoop for 7+ hours per shift
- Must be able to stand for 6+ hours per shift
- Must be able to walk for 6+ hours per shift
- Must be able to reach and grasp up to 6+ hours per shift
