Location: Equipment & Assembly Plant — Pittsburgh, PA
About the role
An entry-level position under the supervision of the E&A supervisor or group leader, the Welder I will perform all functions under this job description, including maintaining a clean and safe shop. The Welder I will comply with all Company and Safety Policies and procedures in the performance of assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform tack welding and finish welding of piping systems utilizing SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding procedures (certification to CCC procedures required).
- Weld vessels and structural components using SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW welding processes to meet CCC certified procedures.
- Inspect own work to ensure compliance with drawings and weld procedures; make necessary repairs.
- Operate fork trucks, jib cranes, and overhead cranes after training.
- Assist in other areas of the plant as assigned.
- Comply with company policy and handle material movement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
- 2–3 years of welding experience is required.
- ASME code welding experience is preferred.

Schedule
Mondays – Fridays, 40 hours per week (3-shift operation).
