Welder/Fitter

About the role

Seeking Welder/Fitters for a fabrication facility in Rowley, MA. Opportunities available for Iron Welder/Fitters (experience preferred) and Structural Welders (training provided for qualified candidates).

Responsibilities

• Layout and assemble steel components per shop drawings.
• Tack weld parts onto structural members.
• Read and interpret AWS welding symbols.
• Weld components following inspection standards.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and safety in work area.
• Communicate issues related to drawings or workmanship.

Requirements

• Ability to read fabrication drawings and measure accurately.
• Proficiency with welding techniques (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, or STUD).
• Experience with welding tools and equipment.
• Capable of operating shop overhead cranes safely.
• Strong layout skills using various measuring tools.

No certifications required.
