About the role
This role involves performing welding, repair, and maintenance on compactors, containers, and carts under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Execute minor repairs and apply various welding techniques
- Inspect electrical and hydraulic systems
- Conduct safety checks
- Complete maintenance documentation using fleet software
- Assist senior welders
- Perform service calls, flame cutting, and metal forming tasks
- Work from prints and verbal instructions
- Utilize standard tools and measuring devices
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace in compliance with OSHA standards
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in multiple welding processes
- Ability to meet significant physical demands
- Strict adherence to safety protocols
- This is a safety-sensitive position; drug testing may be required
