Welder First Shift

CTR Group is seeking experienced Structural Welders for full-time positions in the North-Eastern United States. Travelers welcome. Recently separated or retired Navy Hull Technicians are encouraged to apply.

Pay

$30 per hour plus $150 per diem.

Schedule

1st shift position.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ work experience in welding.
• Current experience with flux core welding.
• Current experience with ceramic tape backing.
• Must successfully pass 1st class Skill Test.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and proficiency of heavy shipyard construction welding in all positions.
• Welding process includes FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding).
• Interpret approved Welding Procedure Specifications.
• Use all tools related to welding, including basic troubleshooting and maintaining welding equipment to assure a safe and efficient operation.
• Proficiently demonstrate welding ability through performance and testing as determined by project.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
