About the role
Responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment to join metal pieces together.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in fabrication.
- Work with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues during production.
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols and quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience in fabrication or welding.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and oxy-acetylene welding.
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Welding certification (AWS, SAW, etc.)
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
