Welder Fabricator

About the role

The Welder Fabricator plays a critical role in the manufacturing and construction industries by creating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components with precision and expertise. This position requires the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate parts that meet exact standards. Responsibilities

• Inspect and test welded joints for quality and compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to plan and execute fabrication projects within deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a welder fabricator or similar role. Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures.
• Preferred qualifications: Experience with advanced welding processes such as TIG and MIG welding. Familiarity with fabrication software and CNC machinery. Additional certifications related to metal fabrication or welding inspection. Experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
