Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Produce high-quality welds according to specifications
- Prepare materials for welding by cutting and grinding to precise measurements
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and maintain equipment properly
- Maintain equipment performance and request maintenance as needed
- Minimize scrap and waste, effectively using supplies
- Meet or exceed production level requirements through manual tasks
Qualifications
- Self-motivated individual capable of meeting deadlines
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Mig and stick welding
- Ability to work independently for extended periods
- Comfort working in noisy, non-air-conditioned/heated environments
- Proficiency in reading measuring tools like tape measures
- Experience with torches and plasma cutters for cutting
- Proficiency with Mig and stick welding techniques
