Welder Fabricator

About the Role

This position reports to the Welding Supervisor and is accountable for fulfilling all assigned duties with delegated authority. The role includes work on both 1st and 2nd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.
• Label products correctly.
• Operate in compliance with basic processes and work instructions.
• Perform any additional duties logically inherent to the position as assigned.

Requirements

• MIG welding experience preferred; semi‑automatic MIG welding a plus.
• At least one year of on‑the‑job experience or completion of welding classes (trade school) desired.
• Pass JOST Welder Qualification Test.
• Effective communication and teamwork with fellow employees, leadmen, and supervision.
• Ability to learn company products.
• Compliance with quality, environmental, safety, and JOST company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a production plant 100% of the time. The employee will regularly stand, walk, reach, bend, and twist, and occasionally stoop, kneel, lift, pull, or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
