Welder Fabricator
Responsibilities
Willingness to Travel (Occasional travel due to job location)
Work in both our shop and on job sites as a welder, mechanic or by assisting others
Manage fab shop equipment and metal fabrication
Consistently evaluate processes, recommend changes when appropriate
Meet with decision makers to discuss project options and take measurements
Daily communication with Operations to ensure smooth installation of projects
Work independently when required
Help manage operating expenses by allocating materials for minimal waste, facilitating clean transitions from one job to the next
Plan, implement and manage tasks in accordance with priorities and adhere to relevant safety regulations and requirements
Peacefully resolve any problems or issues that may arise
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience
- Reliable transportation to/from the office
- Valid Driver’s License
- US Citizenship or Working Visa
- Able to lift 80lbs
- Able to pass new hire and random drug test
- Able to work full time M – F, 7am – 5pm (flex schedule available) & occasional Saturday mornings
- Detail oriented and experienced in Stick, TIG & MIG welding
- Able to read and interpret Blueprints and layout materials
- Good math skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills, multi-tasking skills
