About the role
Mark Rite Lines Equipment Company, a subsidiary of Federal Signal, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team. This position involves evaluating engineering drawings, performing welding tasks, and conducting quality checks on products.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications
- Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment
- Efficiently weld various metal objects using gas torch and welder
- Work with various hand and power tools
- Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products
- Analyze diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly with help of welding torch
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience may be required
- Basic reading skills
- Must be able to follow directions
- Able to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Use thinking and reasoning to solve problems and generate new concepts
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
Pay
Anticipated hourly wage range: $22.00/hour - $24.00/hour depending on amount of previous experience
Schedule
This position is a full-time night-shift role, working Monday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM. Candidates must be able to reliably work this schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
